How secure are you?
We have security cameras that record directly to a DVR running at all times of operation. You will be given a card with a number on it that will match your child. The card issued to you must be returned to the staff member checking you out. We have an open floor plan that gives children freedom of movement to choose the activity area they enjoy while allowing continuous teacher observation. Without walls blocking visibility, our customers can always see what is going on in our facility. In case of an emergency where you are unable to pick up your child, the emergency backup person listed on the information card will be called. Only persons listed on the emergency contact form may pick up your child. NO EXCEPTIONS.  There is only one gate accessible to the play area, and it may only be opened and closed by a Wiggle Worms staff member. The mall has security guards for added saftey.
We never share information about children with anyone except their parent/guardian.

Do you charge an enrollment fee?
No.

How long may my child stay?
The maximum for each child is 3 hours. 

What happens if my child is sick?
We do not accept sick children for any reason. If your child becomes ill while at the Wiggle Worms
Center, you will be called and must immediately come to pick up your child.

What if I am running late?
If a you fail to pick up your child at the agreed upon time, a late charge of $1.00 per minute will be
assessed.  If you fail to pick up your child by the three hour max or closing time, a $25 late fee will be assessed to
compensate staff who must remain with your child.  An emergency contact will be called to pick up your child if
45 minutes have passed.  If after 1 hour no one has responded, emergency personnel will be notified.

Do I have to stay inside the mall?
No! As long as you can return within 15 if contacted You
may explore the surronding areas of Spotyvania Towne Centre.

What do you charge for multiple children?
We charge per hour based on how many children you have.  See rate chart on the information and forms page.

When do I pay?
You must pay in full at the time of pick up. If you have made a reservation, your credit card will be
charged up front for the time slot you requested.

Does my child need to wear socks?
Yes. Socks are required at all times.  If you have forgotten them, you may purchase them at the desk for $1.00.

Do I need reservations?
No.  If you need to make reservations, your credit card will be charged at the time of the
reservation to hold your spot.

May I bring a drink or food for my child?
Drinks are permitted; however, they must be in a labeled, spill-proof cup. Food is not permitted due
to food allergies.

Will you change my child’s diaper?
Yes.  We ask that you provide a diaper bag and suggest a change of clothes as well for accidents. You
must sign a waiver permitting our staff to change your child. If you prefer, we will call you to come
change your child’s diaper.

How is the center sanitized?
We use only kid friendly products.  The entire center is cleaned every evening and during slow
  times during the day.  Antibacterial hand gels are used at the time of check in and are available for you to
use at check out.

How do you handle disruptive children?
All of our staff members have experience dealing with young children.  We choose to “redirect” or “distract”
a child into positive behavior. If disruptive behavior does not change we will request that the behavior stops.  If
the behavior still continues, you will be contacted to come and pick up your child. Your child will be removed
from play area and placed in a time out chair until you arrive.
We reserve the right to refuse future service to children who are disruptive.

What happens if my child is injured?
The Wiggle Worms Center will follow standard emergency medical procedures for treating injuries.  Each staff
member is first-aid and CPR certified.
A head injury will be treated as a serious injury, and parents will be notified as soon as possible.  Superficial
injuries will be washed with water and covered with a bandage or treated with ice.  A report will be wriiten for any injury in the facility and you will be required to sign the report when picking up your child.

If there is a need for emergency medical treatment, 911 will be called.  Should an ambulance be needed,
you will be responsible for any costs.  You will be contacted as soon as possible after contacting
911. The Wiggle Worms Center employees do not administer medications under any circumstances.
